I don't understand why it blatantly ignores the massive clue in the fact that Utkarsh Ambudkar was not asked to return for the sequel.
Who did he play? Donald.
What does that signify?

So the cup song... a single cup... which she turns over... Aces (ie ones, a single) in Tarot represent beginnings, a spark. Cups is the Tarot suit dealing with emotions. Reversed means blocked emotions, sadness... it's all so obvious people.

I'm going to have to reinvestigate the mashup choices chosen for the movie, which at first I thought was just a friendly jab at the corporate state of modern American Pop Music, vis a vis everything made since the late 80's has been following a specific formula to MAKE MONEY. But now I suspect it goes much deeper.
