I watched this the other day when he released it and the line that stuck with me was:
"Nothing matters but to each other and Lemon mattered to me."
I feel the same way about my fuzzies. So here's to Sammy, Betty, Cookie and Pippy. Might as well throw in Ozzy and Izzy the cats while we're at it even though they don't need me that same way.

Beautiful, and wonderfully thoughtful.

My pup is curled up at my feet and I seem to have gotten something in both of my eyes.

On another note, I can't not read that title in Alec Baldwin's voice.

He was walking along a familiar route, to a grass field, without his dog.

I still mourn my last (to date, maybe not last ever) dog, Lolly, especially when I see depictions of similar dogs in appearance and temperment (and I regret how under-documented her life was, even though it was all pre-YouTube).

Full on sobbing tears. (I have a greyhound, and have lost one.)

I lost my dog at the beginning of my ongoing divorce, so I'll watch this to the end another time. For now, I'll imagine the story is what I first pictured...someone has dropped a lemon onto the floor of a Greyhound bus. It's rolling around under the seats and he has the camera pointed at his feet, musing on the predicament; the lemon might roll back within reach.

.

My dog's getting old. These things shred me.

I want to watch, but my grey is curled up next to us on the couch. We still miss our first one (and you all helped us outfit him.)
