Hmm. It doesn't seem to do anything for me, except sit there being yellow. Since dogs are not normally scared of yellow, I assume I'm missing something.

Hey, it's got the soundtrack from one of those late 70's horror/thrillers!

It's like a Pointy version of Bloom. That's sad.

Ah, I love Rafaël Rozendaal! Previously, Previouslier, and Previousliest. I really love so much of his work, and I am so glad to see artists embracing this kind of interactive art. I recently caught this exhibit by a different artist at the MoMA, and it recalled to me the same frame of mind.

I like it. I suggest a big screen, a moderate volume, and patience in clicking until the note fades away into silence.

It didn't work the first time I navigated to it (no sounds, clicking did nada, just a field of purple) but the second time I think it functioned correctly. So if you're confused, reload?

I seem to remember running up something like this in qbasic in about 1993 so my baby daughter could play with it by randomly bashing the keyboard of an old Amstrad. I wonder if it affected her development in any way.
