savemartha.com Everyone who wants to show support for Martha should bake a cake on August 3rd and give it to someone important to them--an old friend, a new neighbor, or someone in need. It's a great way to reach out and show you care, and a great way to spread goodness to both friends and strangers alike--which is what Save Martha! is ultimately all about.

I think Martha Stewart is Leona Helmsley's long-lost twin. Or maybe her less-evil clone.

I had a friend in Chicago that used to work for Martha Stewart -- she says she was one of the worst people she's ever come in contact with. That tight smile and controlled voice of hers is apparently necessary to keep her temper under control.

Is the Save Martha site is onwed and run by Martha? What should I save her from?

Where do these people come from?

I hate MidWesterners!

the important question: would Martha approve of that site's color scheme?

Wouldn't supporting Martha be considered aiding and abetting a criminal? Or, if you do a little stretching, providing comfort to terrorists?

I've met Martha. Her aura is dark, dark black. The evil pulses from her like bolts of electricity from a Van Der Graeff generator. Keep away.

Can we drop her on a Hamas leader?

You may have met Martha, but I've been on her show. (All be it in the background, for about 2 seconds). However, I am firmly part of the Pro Julia Child Massive.

OK. Let's start a list of things you would save before Martha...

* My cake mix for my kids birthday.

this would be so much cuter if it was done up in rachel ashwell (ashworth? whatever)'s shabby chic silliness. that'd bake martha's noodle.

I agree with Anyanka. Martha Stewart's a witch. "Nobody could do that much decoupage without calling on the powers of darkness."

(I should probably point out that doesn't necessarily mean I think she's evil. Some of my best friends are witches.)

I heard Martha hired a new PR company not long ago, this must be their doing.

Why would I want to shave Martha?

I agree. We should stave off Martha.
