Westerns

Very cool. I had never appreciated Westerns -- at all. But then, in August of 2003, I actually watched "The Good, Bad, & Ugly," and it literally changed my life. For the better, I might add. I am now hooked on Westerns in general, and spaghetti Westerns in particular...but I have 38 years of catching up to do!

davidmsc, I was the same way, only my life-changing Western was "The Searchers." I'd recommend you check it out, if you haven't.

Wow, not much covered over than Leone staples. Where's "A Bullet for the General", "CompaƱeros", or even "My Name is Nobody"? He's got all those films and yet tends to write only about the big names. Too bad. Still thanks for the link!
The webmaster does reference The Opera of Violence, which is a good, if academic, look at the genre as a whole.
