Nevada, Colorado approve medical marijuana but Alaska's decrim measure goes down in flames.

I was not shocked to see the Alaska proposition get shot down, since it is one of the most rabidly conservative states in the U.S. I was delighted to see it get on the ballot at all. We're making small steps in the right direction though (see my post about Mendicino County, CA). That makes me very happy!

I found it very interesting that the approval rating went *up*.
