Political Friendster. Because before Senator James Inhofe, R-Oklahoma, declared Global Warming a "hoax" he met with his friend ExxonMobil, taking $249,000 from one friend to another.
Why do I have to have such a fucking stupid senator?
(And the other senator, and the representative. Even my state senator…)

Slate in 1998: Widely considered one of the dumbest members of Congress, Inhofe was elected in 1994 on a campaign that he described gleefully as "God, gays, and guns."
Sounds like he was just ahead of his time.

And on the third day, the Lord took of Inhofe's right testicle, and said, "You shalt be J.C. Watts."

"I'm probably not the only one up at this table that is more outraged by the outrage than we are by the treatment."
-- Sen. Inhofe, on the Abu Ghraib abuses, to the Senate Armed Services Committee, 5/11/2004
I know it's a hijack, but it needs to be repeated whenever his name is mentioned.

Meanwhile the other Senator David Walters (D) takes $358,155 from Lawyers and Law Firms. Fun to live in Oklahoma I imagine. Hey, at least you guys don't have Rick Santorum to deal with.
I remember writing him several times in 2003, the 'year of the blues' in the hopes his office might lend their assistance and dare I say, their endorsement to some events celebrating American blues music. The prick never responded once. But write to him and tell him there is a website making fun of him and you get this endless diatribe.

How's come none of my friends are as generous as Inhofe's friends are? Open notice to ExxonMobil--come for cocktails this Friday and bring your checkbook!

Wunnerful...absolutely the best government money can buy.
And can you imagine? Exxon taking a break from Saving The Environment to get involved in the political process For The Common Good.
