Amazing animated Christmas Display set to music A 3 minute WMV format of an animated christmas display that is (really!) set to music - this would be wild to see in person. Any idea who/where this was done?

Ahhh crap ... I actually did scroll through the page or two of postings look for a duplicate ... but I missed the one MoonBird posted - sorry - I feel a little better because the first comment on that one suggests a better title might have been in order.

absolutely cool. I wonder if this really happened or it's all photoshopped? Too cool either way. And what a great tune! Anyone know what it is?

Looks like time lapse rather than photoshop. Basic 4/4 beat, lights turned on and off @ one minute to the bar = 3 hours work, not counting the planning. Nifty.

It was discussed in the original thread. Seems there's a whole subculture of lighting nerds.

Nice! I missed it first time round as well. TheStorm, I tried to identify the tune with Shazam but it has to be playing LOUD and it's a little early here so I don't want to wake the neighbours.

I'm really interested in browser habits now. If we're missing it the 'first time around' and it's only 13 posts below this one, how are users reading the front page? A wild skim, a random scroll?

The music is by the Trans Siberian Orchestra on "Lost Christmas Eve." No trick Photoshop or filming effects - it's all electronically controlled. I'm hooked!
