This is so cool! When I was little (35 years ago or more) I would have done something like this on index cards -- now it's on the web. :-)

Awesome, but about 12 years too late for me. Back in the heady days of 1995, I was lead programmer/sysadmin/angryman at a startup. The hostname theme was "monsters". I named my box "quasimodo". My buddy named his "oj".

Why does this need its own wiki?
Would it not be more efficient to write the same entries on Wikipedia, and perhaps a portal page to connect them together?

sindark, combine the ease of wiki creation with the ongoing Wikipedia wars over abusive moderation, and it's no surprise that these smaller, more targeted wikis are cropping up all over. Expect to see more of them until such time as Wikipedia proper gets its shit together.
