Scientists have found a "second earth". It's the most Earth-like planet found since last time, and hopefully will satisfy the conditions for life. Time to try out some new numbers in the Drake equation?
This post was deleted for the following reason: Crisis on infinite earth posts! -- cortex
MetaFilter has received a "third post" of the "second earth".

Well, yes, she sort of does, but you say that like it's a bad thing. On her, it wears rather well, I think.

I think maybe a Photoshopped image of Donald Rumsfeld standing forlorn at the edge of a highway with a crudely lettered cardboard sign reading "WILL MISMANAGE FOREIGN OCCUPATIONS FOR FOOD" would work here.
That, or a bunny with a pancake on its head.

Scientists have discovered Scroll bar. You can contol it with a right click. It's the most innovative function since the Search Window. Soon, people may learn to look first before posting the most popular science news story of the day.
