Will HG Wells' Prediction Come True?

The Human Species May Split into Two through a process called sympatric speciation. Evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry proposes that the human race will divide into a 'genetic upperclass' comprising tall, slim, healthy, attractive, intelligent and creative humans and an 'underclass' of humans that have devolved into dim-witted, short, goblin-like creatures. While women will develop perkier breasts, men will develop larger penises. Plausible or pseudo-science?
This post was deleted for the following reason: I'd say keep me up-to-date on that whole perkiness issue, but this is really pretty much a double. -- cortex
Something that is sure to anger the average Sun reader is that the future of humankind will most likely sport coffee-coloured skin.I don't know much about these trashy British magazines, but I find it pretty funny that one blatantly calls the other's readers racists.

Apparently evolution has not yet succeeded in culling the crank pseudo-scientist herd.

Give me a fucking break.
On the other hand, go to any nightclub on a Saturday night and you'll see the separation of genetic upper and lower classes in action. So maybe he's onto something after all.

Whenever I want to learn more about evolution, I turn to the London School of Economics.

Double, and the last thread sucked too. (see how the news article is from 17 October 2006?)

As a tall, slim, healthy, attractive smart person, I'm all for this.
Honestly, guys like this make evolutionary biologists look bad. Anyone who is paying attention to evolutionary biology knows about the concept of cheating. One form of cheating occurs among male fish, for example, where "inferior" competitors sneak in and quietly fertilize eggs that the dominant males are guarding, thus ensurong that the cheater genes will be passed on.
We cheat differently. We use surgery to make the morlocks look like eloi, if you want to keep the H.G Wells crap in for consistency in our pseudoscience. This ensures genetic mixing, which would block speciation (sympatric or otherwise).

That's the Inquirer talking about the Sun. The former is an online tech site, the latter a New Ltd tabloid. And, on preview, DaShiv has summed it up nicely.
