I gotta say this is one of the best lists of best lists for lists of best whatevers that happened in the past year. I hope there will be at least nine more of these best lists of best lists for lists of best whatevers that happened in the past year, so we can make a list of the best best lists of best lists for lists of best whatevers that happened in the past year. That would really make this the best day for lists of the best lists of best lists for lists of best whatevers that happened in the past year ever in the history of anything. Really. So I clicked on the "10 Best Depression Blogs" link right away (because it's Christmas season) and got a wrong link -- something about luxury design or other consumer nonsense. Here's the real link to 10 Best Depression Blogs and *bonus* here's one to 10 Best Bipolar Blogs. (I'm looking at these now to see if I can tell when someone is manic or depressed by content, post length, attached graphics, etc.)

The 60 best buzzwords in Japan is weirdly engrossing. A snippet:
56. Flaming [enjou - 炎上]: Enjou refers to the Japanese style of mass online “flaming,” where large numbers of visitors converge on a particular blog to leave inflammatory comments, often causing the site to fail. Nastier than the Digg effect.
57. Dice-K: The nickname that American fans have given to Boston Red Sox pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka is now commonly used in Japan.
