DIGG ATTACK is a game. Lead a small band of good guys (small bluish dots) in a struggle to flee from Digg Stories. Requires your browser support the canvas tag.

Was neat to see. Guess my browser supports the tag.

This is an interesting idea.

I guess it's canvas tag post day on MeFi.

Great idea. Maybe one day, these kind of games could be put to use in putting down trolls on Digg and Youtube. It might make the next election cycle much more fun!

No, you can't use a video game to put down trolls. These are training for the anti-troll hit squads.

Naturally. But what if you could use a game as a platform to mod discussion forums that are heavily flamed.

Looks like fun, however using a black crosshair on a dark blue background does not make aiming or movement easy.

(ah, firefox crosshairs are much nicer)

Working strategy: hold down control and the mouse button, it will scatter your units to the perimeter of the map, and focus their fire wherever the cursor is, it keeps your units spread out, and you can take out just about any story as it comes through.

(i have no comment on the digg-ness of this, but it is keeping me busy at work while I wait to go home)

You can't use a game to put down trolls, but you could require some sort of "troll toll."

I beat it. With mrzarquon's strategy, it's actually super easy.

Well, apparently your freedom fighters are about as hard to control as your average everyday Internet crowd. Especially as the winning strategy seems to involve everyone wandering off by themselves.

All in all, quite amusing, and I would love to track down a soundtrack, so I could find out some of those songs...
