Love the concept but the execution wasn't as amusing as I had hoped.

I kind of thought they got progressively worse .. but the first couple were quite good - personally I thnk it would benefit from just being Joe and Bill.

This just seems like exploitation. What's the dealy? I can laugh at the guy saying, "This is why Pitchfork sucks," but basically I don't get it.

I was hoping for crotchety insight, like when my dad told my punk rock sister "That singer just sounds like my army drill sergeant."

I think Joe tries his best. He has some pretty astute observations at times, though I must admit that I had only heard about 1/3 of those bands. Some were just awful.

I'm not too sure about this woodshop films. Some of these videos are really dark. Don't they know it's always sunny in Philadelphia?

birdie birdington: It's cute how old people are bigots!
I didn't see any bigotry. The only bit that was edgy was the bit where the guy gave a rap album more than a zero "so I don't look like a racist." But that's not really racism, I don't think - more just the awkward sensitivity to racism that older people sometimes have.
I liked this not because it was hilarious or because I think old people are silly, but because they actually had a few very good points. I could understand where they were coming from, and it was an interesting perspective.
