AIG to pay $100M bonuses

This is insanity More AIG bonuses. “We cannot attract and retain the best and the brightest talent to lead and staff the A.I.G. businesses — which are now being operated principally on behalf of American taxpayers — if employees believe their compensation is subject to continued and arbitrary adjustment by the U.S. Treasury,” says A.I.G.’s government-appointed chairman, Edward M. Liddy. Oh really? Best and brightest are really what we need to lead us out of this mess? Worked so well in the past.

"If we stop the banquet, there won't be any crumbs for the prole waiters!" say the best and the brightest.

A lot of people take jobs every single day where the pay scale is determined by the government. This is a complete excuse. Revoke the AIG bailout.
