The Beavis one (linked at "new") literally made me shudder.

I like Jessica Biel's version better. The Stewie one is unsettling, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Lois untooned. I assume they would simply substitute a picture of Barbara Streisand with red hair, though.

I predict that by the time I finish typing this sentence, the Rule 34 effect will have already ensured that thousands of web pages based on the untoonifying concept exist.

Isn't that the point of the whole attempt? Starting with Homer and Mario, the cartoony proportions are made to look realistic (natural lighting and life-like materials, instead of cel shading). For example, the Pink Panther un-tooned doesn't look like THE Pink Panther, but a panther colored pink-ish with well-known comic accessories.

I'm looking out the porthole of an Alvin submarine on an expedition to chart the depths of the uncanny valley.

I remember being viscerally frustrated as an eleven-year-old that Jessica Rabbit was just a cartoon (as if I'd be in any better shape if she wasn't).
I really don't need the untooned or the Jessica Biel versions in my psyche.

Reminded me of these, which are also good for a disturbing effect.

I agree Jessica Biel is smoking but the side boob is kinda weird looking in this picture. I demand a better one!
