This is some weak ass faux-Andy Kaufmann BS. They are trying way too hard.
Besides, everyone knows that, in spite of the Furniture Store Desegregation act of 1972, black people and white people just prefer to stay at their own furniture joints.

Agreed. They'll never get widespread attention to their store in this way.

There's a furniture store here in Cleveland that also likes to buy late night advertising time. Here's a taste.

Facebook is a "social networking" website.
"Social networking" is a modern term for that blissful period right before you realize it might not be a good idea for your old girlfriend, your ex-boss, and your current mother-in-law to be all connected together.

This store is not all that far from me. These guys (the ones doing the singing) have done other weird commercials for real North Carolina stores, such as Bobby Denning.
Their Taco Bell Folk Song is also pretty remarkable, if only for the ending.

People couldn't tell if the Red House furniture video, with all its local commercial cheesiness and racial references, was a joke, racist, not at all racist, or just a brilliant online ad.... The complimentary commercial for Red House was a customer-appreciation gift from MicroBilt.com, a credit protection company.
