Death of a great man

A great Briton died yesterday What a life this man had, and what a contribution to the social fabric of the UK he made.
My own personal endorsement of his life is that he reputedly upset Margaret Thatcher to such a degree that she refused to have his name on the honours list while she was the PM. He was later Knighted.
This post was deleted for the following reason: Great man notwithstanding, this is really really thin for a post and should probably be done better if it's going to be done at all. -- cortex
I see that you thought he was so great you didn't even wanted to mention his name or anything he contributed to the UK social fabric. That guy is so wonderful! I love all those things he did!

No name, but you remembered your personal endorsement! I'd prefer a name.

I dunno, I kind of like the idea of news stories written as though they were dialogue from Herb and Jamaal.
