Voting is open for the Portable Film Festival. A curated collection of the year's best short films, music videos, animation, and features, from high-quality amateur films to hard-to-find professional releases. The international festival is delivered completely online: all entries are available for download, with awards decided by user ratings.

Hmm. I wonder if this should be in Projects? Looks good though.

I'm a noob: I thought Projects was for stuff that you'd done yourself? I'm not involved with it, I just heard about it via some friends I go to film fests with. I thought the online-only aspect and international entries gave it a wide enough scope that Metafilter might enjoy it.

Hehe, yeah I see now how it might have looked that way. Anyway, so far I've quite liked Fog in the Short Films (warning: nipples) and the Global Warning one in the Animation section made me laugh in spite of myself. Crow Moon is another good animated one.
