How it Should Have Ended: Terminator / Star Trek / Aliens / The Empire Strikes Back and more.... Links contain spoilers
Spock's admonition that weight is meaningless in space is fundamentally misplaced. Not only would ejecting the redshirts help by reducing the mass of the ship, and therefore increasing the acceleration of the ship due to the force of the engines, it would also (in a very small sense) help simply by Newton's third law. The mere use of the word "weight" is really neither here nor there. Spock would have, of course, known this.

I love the destroyed clock tower at the end of the Terminator video. That was inspired.

Terminator was great greatness. I'd watch that movie in a minute, or ninety.

Without watching: bus plunges?
In all of cinematic history there's only one film that wouldn't have been improved by ending in a bus plunge.
And one that would have been improved by it more than any other.

I loved how the T-1000 (crashing through the drive-in movie screen) was driving the truck full of manure that Biff would (presumably) step in.

I saw the Starz thing, and just wondering, are these the same folks who did the movies in 30 seconds, with bunnies?

I don't have to pretend, I never actually saw that thread. Generally speaking after 4-5 years we're a lot less speedy on the deleting-doubles button.

I don't think the Aliens alternate ending is right with regard to Ripley's arm getting ripped apart. Theoretically it should just be the force of the air evacuating the ship. You'd lose air fairly rapidly, but it wouldn't be enough force to separate a human elbow.
