Top 50 bike blogs in 2011 from the London Cyclist.
I'm already in love with The Path Less Traveled, which is making my plan to run the C&O Canal this year on my Raleigh Twenty seem less ridiculous than my fancypants bike enthusiast friends would suggest.

If my bike blog isn't on it, and it's not, how valid can this list be? I must have tens, even elevens of visitors every month. Meh.
But really, it is nice to have such a good collection of also-rans to refer to. There are a number that are new to me and I'll be enjoying my bike junkie fix for days. Thanks!

Nos. 3 & 4 (Copenhagen Cycle Chic and Copenhagenize) are written by the same (excellent) writer/commentator, Mikael Colville-Andersen. The entries that come up at Copenhagenize under the tag "Bike Helmets" are essential reading for urban cycling boosters and would be worth an FPP in themselves.

Holy crap, you'd better do that. The towpath is such an easy ride (especially from Cumberland -> DC) that it becomes very much about being comfortable enough to bang out the miles. I don't know how wide your tires are, but I'd put the widest tires that'll fit on that frame, and have a ball. A few friends and I are just solidifying a plan to do a 3-day C&O trip in a couple of months. I can't wait.

My favorite bike blog is The Balloon Biker, in which artful balloon-twisting is combined with the undertaking of a nation-wide bike tour.

David “A view from the cycle path” Hembrow also makes awesome wicker bike baskets. His family has been doing it for generations. Here's how he does it.

Thanks jeffmac. And... there goes any productivity I was hoping for today.
Good to see Cyclocosm on the list - I love its style - full of passion and unashamed opinion.
I sometimes entertain thoughts of having a bike-centric blog of my own, but really, who wants to hear about how I got a flat this morning and those bloody drivers cutting me up and bus lanes are for bikes too amirite and wow! look! here's a repost from cyclingnews.com and oh shit this seems just like my posting history on MetaFilter. I'll shut up now.

I did a GIS for "motoring helmet", and some of the hits were gold.

Great list. I'd love to see it broken down by types of bike blogs such as "best commuter bike blogs" (which I'd be interested in), "bike racing blogs" (not at all interested), "bike advocacy blogs," "bike photography and art blogs," etc.

for those of you in Chicago, Steven Can Plan has a lot of great stuff on bike culture, safety and geodata.

Top 50? How about just 15 with a short description on what each blog focuses on?
