The Ward

The Ward (Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3) is a silly little Lovecraftian sitcom from the folks who bring us the H.P. Lovecraft Literary Podcast. (previously: 1, 2, 3, 4) The guys Lackey and Fifer are also writing a graphic horror novel set in the Jazz Age, Deadbeats.
I know Chris, too, a little. He was finishing up at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh around the time I started there. That was eons ago, though.

got a few comedic Lovecraft things I might as well link here instead of making a bunch of FPPs. i went to the Lovecraft program at the Night of Horror Film Festival last week and most of the shorts were pretty staid. Cosas Feas (Nasty Stuff) was not, however. it was an utterly hilarious Lovecraftian/Gigeresque coming of age story. unfortunatly, the only media online is a short trailer on Facebook video but the director assures me they'll be more to come.
they also screened the feature The Last Lovecraft: Relic of Cthluhu. it was a hilarious little low budget action/buddy comedy that looks like the result of Hollywood trying to make a big budget 'Lovecraft' movie and failing. the monsters are Buffy rejects but that's just part of the charm, and the geeky jokes are frequently hilarious. it's just fun
Necronomicon is a short parody of Mormon commercials
and of course my little brother has yet another Lovecraftian Lego short up
hope you enjoy

This is unclear. I'm intrigued by the idea of jazz musicians getting into Ghost Busters-type trouble in a horror-comic, but it is unclear whether this is just a 4-issue miniseries or something with a similar name from Claypool Comics, which stopped printing and went to the net back in 2006.
I checked Cpmixology for this title and only saw one of the old Claypool trades and a few floppies. Is this an entirely new title, or something old?

Rifflesby: I started in April of '93. I think Chris graduated in the summer, but I could be wrong.

You might also recognize Bruce Green (playing Bruce the cultist) from the Coen brothers' True Grit.
