Robot Elephant!

(notes on) biology, a short stop-motion animation (5.39) by ornana films, features a robot elephant. You have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. Stuff gets good at about 2.25.
I turned it up at first because I wanted to hear the lecture.
And that elephant isn't a robot, it's just wearing a jetpack.
But this was pretty cool and fun.

Maybe I've just been seeing less interesting elephants than DU, but most of the ones I've seen don't have cannons for trunks.

A man with a pea-shooter is not a cyborg, let alone a robot. Even less so is an elephant, who has a built-in straw.

Before the elephant got all weaponized, the tableau of him about to get run over by a man in a hat very much reminded me of "The Elephant who Liked to Smash Small Cars". (The book is out of print, but is now available in youtube form?!). This video is like a J.J. Abrams reboot of that children's classic.

The device they used to slow down the page turns as the elephant hit the arc was mad clever.
Yeah, that was a real good touch. Perhaps a little long to get to the good stuff, but still damn good fun.
