Sonar is a cool music visualization. (SLYT)
I don't think it really is a visualisation, at least not in the sense that a lot of people would understand it (i.e. a piece of software that generates images in response to any sound input). Rather, this is a multimedia piece where the author (briefly displayed at the end) has created the music and the animation for a one-off piece.
It's good though.

Needs a major POWER CHORD toward the end -- accompanied by blinding white light. Otherwise, quite nice.

I kept trying to figure out how I might pull this off programmatically, but then gave up and just sat back and enjoyed the visuals. Really dug this - thanks for sharing this, bardophile!
