That text, it did not make me ready for the images. And the juxtaposition of the apparently rural setting, the low quality pictures, and the AMAZING statues makes it feel like the robots might be real, and she's posing with alien life-forms or some sort of advanced mechanics. Awesome.

On one hand, wow, those are neat. On the other hand, I think, geeze, another alien/predator/transformers artist ?

I remember seeing Saengtai's earlier sculptures posted somewhere else (not MeFi, I don't believe) a year or two back. As I recall, I was only vaguely impressed with her first attempt at Optimus Prime (too skinny/fragile looking), but her latest ones are actually better-looking than the CGI creations in the TF movies. When I look at ILM's Optimus or Bumblebee, I don't see the characters, just see a bunch of computer code trying to look like an alien robot that turns into a car. Saengtai's not only looks like the real thing, but there's character and personality built in as well.

Yeah, these are awesome - I saw a couple of places selling them while I was in Thailand but man, shipping one of those back to Europe would be pricey. I wanted a Predator next to my front door.

Very, very cool statues.
I noted that she makes furniture as well, but it really isn't so functional--basically a glass tabletop on an alien, which isn't very stable and doesn't leave much leg room (though it's a great conversation piece).
An egg with an alien peeking out from underneath the glass top would make a more functional (room for legs around egg) piece. Or smaller aliens holding up either side of the tabletop, maybe, leaving some open space between them.

This lead me on a stream of amazing finds. A youtube search for Cardboard Transformer Costume sums it all up.

All of these are more real than anything in the actual movies.

Yep, these are pretty cool. Her Predator is way better than the movie Predator(s).

Is there a way to erase the shitty Transformers movie from my brain so that I can suddenly find her statues to be awesome?

Love them. Great work. Want one for the front garden that yells "get off my lawn" in the correct voice.

Whatever you do don't get the Jazz statue, it does nothing except be obviously African-American and then falls apart on your lawn.

I dunno if you're joking, but I see statues like this sold in a bunch of markets in Sydney.
