Did I miss it or did they not give any credit to Langley Schools Music Project anywhere in the video or in the description?

I love this version.
Back in the old days, some people really thought that Klaatu was the Beatles. Yeah, I know...

And for years after the song came out, I'd get it as an earworm whenever I got a letter in my mailbox addressed to "OCCUPANT". (Also occasional "Pocket Calculator" earworms, but I never thought to mix the two)

FAMOUS MOTHER was really into The Carpenters for a while and she bought a best-of CD and I remember listening to it (didn't really have a huge choice in the matter) as I did chores and thinking what the fuck is this song

They aren't Muppets!!!!!
There’s an incredibly simple way to keep it all straight. Just remember this: Any puppet built by the Muppet Workshop is a Muppet, and any puppet built by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is technically a creature rather than a Muppet, but you’re allowed to call it a Muppet anyway. Any other puppet is not a Muppet...

My "Time Traveling Alien Hermaphrodite" theory of Gaga's secret origin is beginning to gain more ground, I see.
Fools! You all mocked me! But THE TRUTH!..... IS!........OUT THERE!!!!

Babes In Toyland's take on the song from The Carpenters tribute album.
If I Were a Carpenter is one of those artifacts from the '90s that I keep rediscovering and delighting in every few years, although it has led to moments like going out for karaoke and getting onstage before realizing that "Yesterday Once More" is not, in fact, a rock anthem.

I just want to break in here and say that I would love to have seen MAD do a magazine parody on Famous Mothers of Filmland, pehaps comparing the careers of Mom Chaney and Mom Chaney, Jr.
