Man, do I miss NightFlight.. Back in the wild west days of early cable programming that sort of late night weirdness was the bestest thing in the world for oddballs like me. These days the closest thing to it on television is the oddities of cable access shows, but even those are dwindling to nearly nil with the incursion of internet video into the oddball entertainment arena.

The weirdness of that cartoon Thor fan edit wasn't too far from the actual Thor cartoons that it was culled from. Man, those late 60's Marvel cartoons were STRANGE (largely due to a hasty & cheap production process, but still . . .)

I too miss Nightflight.
And for some reason the Carvel " new wave period" ad shown in this post (Our New Favorite Vintage Spots) took me back...well, at least to the memories of weird Carvel ads. Which I think was around the same time as I was watching Nightflight.
