even I think it's funny, albeit as tasteless as it comes. I completely understand anyone who thinks it is Not Funny At All.

Not funny. Okay, Osama bin Rodman was kinda funny. Other than that, not funny.

This made me giggle, though I will agree that a lot of people will consider it tacky. It is tacky. There isn't anything funny about terrorism. But if tittering over Osama ben Affleck is wrong, I don't want to be right.
I personally find this less offensive than the maudlin e-mail I am still getting, which is a frightening mix of simplistic crap ("light a candle! here's a hug!") and racist garbage ("those durn terrorists have their turbans on too tight if they think they're getting away with this! yuk yuk yuk!"). I'd rather see ten pages of silly name games than one more of those freaking notes.
But that's just me.

Well, I thought it was amusing. And the fact that "Osanta bin Laden" was the only photo that didn't have to be edited- well, that's just icing on the cake!
Truth is, I saw a list of "WTC Jokes" at plastic.com yesterday, and some of them were hilarious! The two superman ones... phew! :) Nothing- and I mean nothing- is too serious you can't still laugh at it... irony is not dead, comedy has not ceased to exist as we know it.

Get with the program, folks. It's traditional to use humor in this manner to demean, de-mystify, and ridicule the enemy. Expect much more of same...we're right on schedule.
It's too bad Chaplin isn't around to update The Great Dictator....

now *there's* an idea. ecstasy in the water for about a week. walk in, no bloodshed, no one puts up a fight, remove a few people for trial, feed the hungry, install a friendly government. walk on out.
