Isn't this terrorism of sorts? Lets hope the US government siphons off a few million to ensure virii making nasty people stop too..

virus-writers deserve terrible punishments, bastards (yes, I should really get some anti-virus software one day =). Leave hackers alone, they're just curious folk..

Sad Otter :That legislation is pretty excessive. Does virus writing really equate with murder or terrorism?

Just read the article about the proposed Anti-Terrorism-Act that sad_otter posted a link to. Life imprisonment for writing a virus? With no parole! Well over the top.
Is this act likely to be approved by Congress in its present form? I'm from UK so it's hard to judge. It seems way too hard line to me.
