Face detection has various applications. Easymustache.com is perhaps not one of the most practical ones.
Face Mustacher is a Javascript web application that detects faces in an image and applies a mustache to them. You can enter the URL of any image on the web into the box and click on the mustache button. Here is an example with the famous photo from the Solvay Conference. (Via the r/programming subreddit)

Bonus points:
1 - The only cheerleader without a stache.
5 - The six boobstaches.
25 - The neckstache.

This feels appropriate. The ones that mustache wrong feel like they are on purpose with those, at least. Though fine art photography doesn't seem to work all that well in general, maybe it's the black and white?
But could someone make a plugin for Chrome for this so I can just right click on an image and get the option to mustache it? That'd be great.

Google Hangouts has had similar functionality for a few months now (except over the holidays it was reindeer antlers and noses). It's fun when you leave the room and your mustache gets hung up on your chair.

Yeah, it must vary somehow from person to person as yeolcaoatl says, because Heather has a fairly well-aligned non-boob stache in mine as well. The only one that is close to stache-less in mine, is Monica in the back row, second from left, who has more of a chin stache.
