That was cool, but, uh... what's the deal with the YouTube tags?

Most cool, as an aspiring, albeit untalented, percussionist.

Without the backing track, I would have perhaps had some trouble figuring out what I was listening to. I'd rather listen to it on the recorder.

Unh, um, this seems a little... produced. I don't hear any of the sounds from them dropping or scrabbling for tubes in this, and we don't see the guitar player either.

Yeah. I'd much prefer to see it without the backing track. The arrangement is impressive, though.

I don't believe it. I think the music was created using a synth, and those guys are doing the instrumental equivalent of lip synching.

No, I'm pretty sure it's real. They're hitting the rhythms, which is the hardest part. Plus, if it were fake, they'd probably have mixed it better.
But, yeah, the backing track needs to fuck off.

As someone who has years of close personal experience with Boomwhackers, I can tell they're the real deal. That backing track sounds as if it's straight from some children's show though.

I love boomwhackers. From right here at good ol' MeFiMu, here's me and my daughter playing boomwhackers*. And again**.

Are the tracksuits mandatory for playing this instrument?

There seems to be loads of these Boomwacker videos out there of varying quality / difficulty. this one was particularly poor due to the over-reliance on the guitar and drum backing track.

"Blue Man" outfits are also acceptable attire.

So, I downloaded this and slowed it down in VLC. It's real. Some one should tell these guys to do this again with the backing track gone or way down. I mean, one more rep wouldn't hurt. Imagine how many times they've run this puppy while learning it.
