182 Superhero Movies In Less Than 5 Minutes (SYTL)

If Robert Downey, Jr. and his band of Avengers isn't enough superhero action for you, why not enjoy 5 minutes of superhero mash-up action here. Bonus points for CONDORMAN.

CONDORMAN! For some reason they showed this in a big assembly when I was in elementary school. It was like a Disneyfied "Three Days of the Condor".

Not to be SUPERpedantic, but I think this is more 182 superhero CLIPS, not movies. A number of them are repeated a number of times.

AND NOW OFF TO MY NEXT ADVENTURE!!

Also, no SUPER FUZZ (Supah Suuupaaaah!)?! I must say good day to you sir. GOOD DAY!

Phew. It works for me.
I was going to ask how there could be 182 movies about superheroes, but then I saw mention of CONDORMAN! and I knew it was going to be okay.

It shows just how far movie-making has come. And now I want to see Avengers again. And Daredevil... for some reason?

I have to say of all the "real life" hero movies 'Super' is by far my favourite. I'm not sure which the worst is.

Krrish is missing, but that's Bollywood. Not sure that V is a superhero, but no Spectre or Dr Strange? No Hammond Spidey? The 1970s is sad,.

And I'm not sure Orgazmo was a superhero.

"He is an amateur, do you hear? He is not an agent of the CIA! He is a writer of comic books!"

Fact: I have to think hard to remember my wife's birthday, and line has taken up space in my brain for almost thirty years. Stupid, stupid brain.

No Dudley Doright? No Lone Ranger? No Rocky the Flying Squirrel?

/ walks away disappointed

I'm fine with Dudley, Rocky and Bullwinkle, as long as I don't have to be reminded that Robert DeNiro played Fearless Leader.

That was pretty great I'll admit.

About 2:00 in I was like 'no Mystery Men yet?' and then it showed up. But it was about two seconds of The Bowler, and didn't even show the bowling ball.

For as much attention paid to the new Spiderman/Batman/X-Men franchises I mean I'd think you could include the Blue Raja, Mr. Furious, or Shoveler. I mean come on those guys are iconic.

I sneer at their feeble attempt. Where's the George Reeves Superman? The 60's Green Hornet? Pumaman? "Justice League Unlimited"? "Teen Titans Go"? "Super Friends"? "Shazam"? The Mighty Isis? Electrowoman and Dynagirl? Steve "Not Stone Cold" Austin? Wonder Woman? Automan? Captain Nice? Underdog? Super Chicken?

I hear you Larry Duke, but you've got to admit that the editing was an excitingly literal interpretation of the lyrics to whatever song that was!

And tittergrrl, I don't know whether to thank you or curse you for the introduction to Super Fuzz...

Superhero TV shows ≠ superhero movies. You've listed a whole bunch of superhero TV shows. Not only is it a different medium, but they'd also all be in the wrong aspect ratio.

Jet Jaguar is somewhat misidentified. The character is Jet Jaguar, but the movie is Godzilla vs. Megalon.

Speaking of Pumaman (or as Donald Pleasance pronounces it, "Peeyuuumahman"), has that movie been released on DVD at all?

I can't watch this YouTube clip -- I get a "can't load movie" message in the link and the Yahoo news story has a message about the video being blocked on the site because of content from "UMG" with a link to watch it on YouTube -- which doesn't work. Grr. Is it an iPad thing?

No Tick. Me no likee.

I stand partially corrected, Joey Bagels. Most of the shows I listed also had either a theatrically released film or direct to video movie (Automan definitely excluded).

No, potsmokinghippieoverlord, "Pumaman" is not on DVD, not even on an MST collection.

Pare that down to 5 seconds and I might actually be able to bear watching it. Actually, strike that, I've just eaten.

Much as I'd like to forget it exists, there ought to be some clips in there from Matrix Revelations of Keanu Reeves showing Bryan Singer and Richard Donner what a Superman action sequence ought to look like.

Is it an iPad thing?

It has TV/mobile views disabled, yeah.
