Do not bid on this painting

Do not bid on this painting if you are succeptible [sic] to stress related disease, faint of heart or are unfamiliar with supernatural events.
I never thought an object could scare me as much as my clown nightlight from when I was 6 did. Now I know better.

Hima Ossobuco: The photo you linked to is by one David Heath. Sorry to break it to you, but obviously your grandparents *lied* to you too!

ummm...okay. I don't get it. What am I supposed to be seeing here? Not being sarcastic...just don't see what they supposedly see.
The last two pictures seem badly lit, but I don't see no kid ghost coming out of them.
Someone please tell me what kind of evil I am supposed to be seeing.

The buyer, at least, seems quite sensible.
I like the painting. Perhaps enough to buy a "high quality reproduction."

Worms? But of course!
I'm rather attracted to the haunted painting (but then, I enjoy mysterious, faintly disturbing art (like Goya). A reproduction of this painting would make a nice addition to the wall of my studio...and it would probably lead to some interesting nightmares. Bonus!

Gee. That link (about something that was news more than a year and a half ago) was updated just a few months ago. . . congratulations on being on top of things.

Pull your head in, UrbanFigaro. Might be hard for you 12K members to comprehend, but MeFi actually has nothing to do with news or 'being on top of things' (although lately you'd have to try pretty hard to convince me otherwise).

So if you buy the print, you just get possessed by a cheap imitation of the Prince of Darkness.
