I found that very relaxing, thank you.

Illuminated balls? I HONESTLY didn't see this when I made the post following. HONEST.

It's not the most technically difficult 3-ball juggling routine, but the red ball and the fact that it's dim with the balls lit like that (plus the music) makes for a very nice presentation.

Does the kid own a stereo on the ceiling?

Smooth transitions between fountains and cascades. He keeps a nice tight pattern, too. Not the most challenging 3-ball routine, but well-done and certainly pretty to watch.

There's about thirty seconds of that video where I could have sworn that kid had three hands.

I would like to see something like this but in pitch dark, so we only saw the balls moving.

What I found most impressive is that he did it all sitting cross-legged. Maybe that's not a big deal, but I just sat down and juggled a bit and it was pretty tough for me, even though I sit cross-legged all the time. I'm a total amateur juggler, though, and use pretty wide arm movements.

Anyway, I was just wondering what to do with myself for the next two months (summer vacation), and this post has inspired me to learn some new juggling moves. Thanks!

That was lovely. And now I need to learn to juggle.

It's good to see the octopus-human breeding program finally paying off.

Follow the bouncing ball. Juggle the light fantastic. Turn gravity to levity. I've got three balls! He actually palmed the Ace of Spades. Now you owe me $20.

I didn't mean to be flippant earlier, but making flippant floppier is what I do.

I actually did study 3-ball juggling under Roberto, and it kind of bugs me to see people getting credit for stuff that pretty much everyone in the juggling community has known about for years. Roberto came up with a bunch of that stuff. He's still one of the best 3-ball jugglers out there.

Master! I still defend your name! Even in obscure internet forums.

I realize now that in my last comment I got a bit snippy. It's hard to explain why bastardized modern forms of 3-ball juggling would piss anyone off, but I've seen people 3-ball juggling while swimming or jogging or eating an apple or cookies or a tennis ball or whatever, and I think that these are very weak forms of 3-ball juggling, which might also offend apples, cookies, and tennis balls.

You see, 3-ball juggling is a rare art form, when done correctly. It's a very pure art. Many jugglers just try to add more balls. "Oooh, look! I've got four!" Or five, or six, or whatever. That's not what great 3-ball juggling is about. Instead, it's about working with severe constraints, and still doing something interesting with them. 3-ball juggling is the haiku of juggling poetry.

When you put a flaming torch or a chainsaw in there, you don't respect juggling as juggling. You only cater to the most base of human desires, you juggalo, you.

I used to be able to do about half of the moves he did there. Mill's mess... damn. I am now going to dig out my juggling balls and reduce myself to a frustrated raging fool within about two minutes flat.

Neatly done but technically not particularly interesting. There's some really truly remarkable stuff done with three balls.
