Thus, proving for all time, that the fourth Die Hard movie wasn't nearly as good as the first three. And that's recognizing how bad the second one actually was.

I was surprised not to see The Wild Bunch, since it has several of these. To wit.

I think I'd classify the Tom Hanks laugh from The Money Pit as hysterical rather than maniacal.

Two from The Nightmare Before Christmas! This is actually a great compendium of movies I need to watch again. Like maybe Labyrinth for the 10th time...
Nicolas Cage has his own section, as is only proper.
There's a HOW'D IT GET BURNED? joke I'm just not able to pin down here.

Me: Hey Nic, someone made a DVD of all your best movie laughs.
Nic: How'd it get burned-HOW'D IT GET BURNEDHOW'DITGETBURNED?!?
Also, I can't be positive, but it REALLY sounds like the Power Rangers (at about 2:40) re-used Ursala's laugh from The Little Mermaid. Either that or maniacal laughter all starts to sound the same eventually.

I can't argue with the editor's choice, and I don't even know if this technically fits the brief but I was so hoping it would end with this.

Three different Jokers, but once again, Mark Hamill's version is overlooked (and this if from the movie version so it could've counted).

Once again I am reminded how great a movie Dr Strangelove was. Of all the maniacal laughs presented, only Peter Sellers gave me chills.

God dammit, I was SOOO hoping they weren't going to include that stupid speech from Independence Day which is inexplicably beloved by lots of people. Then BAM, there it is. Awesome, otherwise.
