"She's known as the hardest working young lady in show business today. Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Tina Turner."

She can do The Beatles. She can do The Stones. And, oh my, can she sing the blues.

Oh, yeah... she does a Creedence number too.

The entire concert - under the title "THE LEGENDS - Ike and Tina Turner - Live in 1971" - is available on DVD and torrent.

I'm a sucker for a good cover and that version of "Come Together" is now one of my favorites.

Her version of "Proud Mary" doesn't even count as cover at this point, she just uncovered the way the song was supposed to be from the start or something.

Here she is singing Brown Sugar with The Rolling Stones. Spoiler: She dances better than Mick.

This is not the chicken dance I remember from my youth. This is something better. My dad has always had a thing for Tina Turner; luckily my mother is a tolerant woman.

I love Tina Turner. I saw her in concert in London ages and ages ago. She was awesome.

1971... so this must have been the supporting tour for 'Nuff Said, one of my all-time favorite soul records. So ummm... 'nuff said.
