Literary Dioramas

Julia Callon makes dioramas inspired by 19th Century women novelists. More dioramas (and other projects) can be seen on her website.
I did like them, although "The Yellow Wallpaper" one was way too genteel for the room described in the story. Also, the wallpaper was not nearly horrible enough.
But I harp too much; these are pretty darned great.

It kind of blows my mind that she's made dioramas - the thing that was the fount of a thousand school projects - as an art form. (If I'd known that was possible I could have gone in a whole other direction.)

I too have a terrible urge to nitpick the yellow wallpaper, but I shall shut up because these are GREAT.
