Did you ever fight a "Strange Lamia" on a MUD? Could you be a ninja and headkick people? What about the chameleon king and queen? Do these ring a bell? For god's sake message me, I have been trying to locate the MUD I was on in the late 90s via the usual channels for years!

I am so glad this was one of the games I managed to finish before Comp voting was done this year...and sad it didn't place as highly as I thought it should. Maybe it's nostalgia doing some of the voting, but I loved the immersion.
Kaseijin: The game is pretty linear except for a few moments...keep doing things and eventually you'll get bounced to a new character.

This was my favorite comp game this year! Tip: if you want to see the different endings but don't want to replay the entire thing to see them, use the 'skipthru' command to skip to the last act. (But finish the game at least once before you do that!)
Also, turn your speakers on! I didn't realize there was sound until I got to the end and saw the audio credits.

It seems like the sound doesn't work in Firefox. I've tried it on two different computers. It seems to work in Chrome, though.

Hit up fellow MeFite Jason Scott. In addition to being the world's leading Internet historian, he used to be quite the mudder; even ran one for several years. If he doesn't know the answer I'm sure he can point you to whoever does.

Any fellow Tele-Arena (via MajorBBS) fans out there? Ah, what I wouldn't give to suit up in dragonscale armor one more time, take up a levinblade, and attack an Apollyon dragon just to see it satisfyingly "fall to the ground, lifeless!"

Well, this is fantastic so far. Although these hi-res graphics are a scam so the game company could put another 64k floppy in the box and charge us double.
