Unsung Color Photographer Saul Leiter Is In No Great Hurry.
"In No Great Hurry" is a documentary about a photographer who started shooting in color in the 1940s, and about whom you may have never heard.

There is something soothing about his photography, and I imagine it's partially due to the fact that he seems like a rather gentle person in that trailer for the documentary about him. Thank you for sharing it.

I'm really drawn to what I've seen of his color photography (and abstract painting, too), but hadn't known about the film. Here's another recent interview. Thanks for this post!

I am sincerely worried that pre-Internet "unsung exceptional people" are a non-renewable resource. And filmakers and authors are mining them out at an alarming pace.
