Is Paul "Freck" Morgan getting (cough-cough) cold feet? First this "August winner" of the coveted Dork of the Day award claimed he'd cut off his feet with a homemade guillotine during a live webcast on Halloween, then he rescheduled it for today (November 30th), now he's moved it back to January 5th of next year. (And I already took a day off of work and ordered the pizza. Damn!)
I would not choose to sponsor some nut to cut off his own feet in the hopes of getting prosthetics when there are pictures on his site of perfectly fine prosthetics for him to use now. He has a good point regarding security, necessary bandwidth to deliver the promised webcast and such but personally, I think this is just a con to get people to give this guy money.
Granted $19.99 is not a lot of cash but hey, if you really want to fund this you can always send in donations. I personally have better ways to spend $20. And that does not include ordering pizza and taking a day off work.

If he was really saavy he'd move off the pay-per-view model, sign up subscribers, cut his feet off over time, and thus realizing the holy grail of Internet 'media commerce': recurring revenue!
