My brown tabbies would dispute that. Nothing wrong with a black cat, but brown tabby is the standard for a reason.

Born and raised in the streets of Brooklyn. Makes me glad that New York can still produce something like Princess Monster Truck. Who said were were only about artisanal beards and organic free range locally raised egg frittatas now.

A few years back we moved our cats from being outdoor to indoor cats and one of them didn't take to it too well and got into the habit of pissing on our couch. So, we started giving her praise and treats whenever we noticed her using her box.
Fast forward to today. Our cat will beg for treats and, if denied, will run to use her litter box then run back and beg again. He have essentially taught our cat the "trick" of taking a piss.
Unrelated other than involving a cat, I suppose, but I was laughing my ass off about it this morning.

this looked like a condition from birth the way her jaw was structured, and these kinds of thing happen commonly in Persian breeds
This is a hand-wavy way of saying that Princess Monster Truck's jaw is the result of overbreeding for type. The Persian breed standard has slowly gotten more and more extreme; the flat squooshy Ewok face is a relatively recent development. It's not healthy in itself - Persians are susceptible to breathing difficulties and blocked tear ducts - and when taken too far can result in issues like this. For every Princess Monster Truck success story, there are probably hundreds if not thousands of similar kittens who are euthanized or abandoned never to be found. (Previously, about similar issues with the modern bulldog.)
I hate to rain on PMT's parade, because she's an adorable, lucky, and awesomely named cat, and I'm glad people love her face instead of being repulsed. I just have trouble being all "yay look at her weirdness, let's turn her into a meme!" when it's a real health problem and a symptom of unhealthy breeding practices.

This is one reason we love animals. They have no clue what they look like, and consequently are incapable of giving a fuck. I don't even think a three-legged dog looks at a standard-issue dog and thinks anything other than "MUST! SNIFF! BUTT!!!" Which makes them so much cooler than just about all of us.
I, for one, welcome our furry underlords.

My take is that a) yes, the human race seriously needs to cut it out with the whole breeding deformed and severely handicapped animals for our amusement but b) if an animal is already deformed and severely handicapped, and has been abandoned and left to die, I think cute disabled kitty celebrities like Princess Monster Truck and Lil' Bub and Grumpy Cat are encouraging more people to consider adopting a disabled cat if they have the means, which is a very good thing.

A friend has a cat with an extreme underbite like this. He is a reject from a Persian breeder that was given to to her in lieu of being sent to the animal shelter. Poor boy is about 16 now, and those little fangs are both broken. His jaw and teeth have always interfered with his cleaning and eating, too. I love me some misfit pets but it does make me sad to see people purposely breeding animals that will suffer.

We have names for various states of bottom-teeth display; he can be alternately sporting a "full rack", a "half rack", or merely "tuskin'"
I like to go over to him and be all like "yo let me fix your face for you".. then he licks appreciatively and fucks it all up again
In closing, I'm a dog person but this cat is pretty baller

Any breed can become inbred due to isolation (see middle of nowhere farm cats) but yeah, your generic DLH and DSH are just, you know, cats, so not so much freakshow there. Turkish Vans and Norwegian Forest Cats are kind of like this being landrace breeds but there are breeders currently working hard to fuck this up for everyone.
