Illustrator and artist Andrew DeGraff (Tumblr, blog, personal site) has made detailed "treasure maps" out of movies.
As I clicked on this, I was thinking "Do the Goonies!". He did the Goonies. I am happy. Great post.

Groundhog Day could be interesting if you wanted to do a smaller scale map.

aw. not that this wasn't cool, but I was expecting yellowed and battered pirate treasure maps with X-marks-the-spot and what have you.

The Jedi map is just great; it's like all the ephemera you consume after loving a movie combined into one image.
