The Sausage Dog Hotel is a dachshund hotel and retreat in Hertfordshire. Its site and Youtube channel contain updates on the various proceedings among the distinguished guests.
Wait, you're telling me these guys have successfully created a business where they play with dogs all day?

I know I'm sensitive to it, but the agility videos put a lump in my throat since Doxies are so susceptible to paralysis via IVDD. My chorgi inherited the IVDD genes from the Corgi side and had to have emergency spinal surgery, so yeah... but otherwise, there are worse ways you can live your life!

Very cute. For some reason Havana, Cuba is the wiener-dog capital of the western hemisphere.

So this is now the second UK-based business I now want to somehow emulate.

Now if they can just do something similar for bulldogs. Hey, they don't need so much playtime. (But you do have to air-condition it and ventilate it well...)

I love this. We have a "Doxie Derby" where I live and I'd love a shirt from here to wear to that. Or wear my Doxie Derby shirt to this place, either way!

This place must be 10 mins drive from where I live. How did I not know of its existence? And how did I go so wrong in my career choices?

One of the things I've always loved about dachshunds is - you can tell that, in their own heads, they sincerely and unswervingly believe that they are actually the size of Irish wolfhounds, and are properly proportioned. And absolutely nothing will shake them of this belief.

After all these years that video has finally explained to me what the hell the "camber sands" were in Pulling Mussels From a Shell.
