"I Sounded Really, Like, Kind Of Pompous"

In our past midnight conversation, Steve Albini discussed his interesting history with Kurt Cobain, his abandoned work with Fugazi, the stories behind making In Utero, the mostly good but surprisingly sad and surreal professional aftermath of making In Utero, how it might have changed his life, how the new Shellac LP’s test pressings are on route to the band, and why he doesn’t care about Breaking Bad but can tolerate The Newsroom.

A friend of mine wanted to make collectable Steve Albinibabies in the late nineties.

When I googled Steve Albini and Courtney Love I found some good dirt but not what I was looking for. When I read the Cournty Love thing Courtney Love does the Math it looked to me like point-by-point ripoff of Steve Albini The Problem with Music but apparently he isn't very mad about that. Maybe what he wrote was so obvious that he isn't possessive about it.
