Seems to me news stations are down to simply grasping at facts...

"This just in... Northern Alliance authorities report that they have found the pot that Bin Laden used to piss in last week. Keep it tuned here for useless bits of information as they become available."

I disagree. For days, the media has been talking about Bin Laden possibly being at Tora Bora, without ever providing reasons to justify the speculation. Now, we're starting to hear some attempts to factually explain why the U.S. and its allies believe he's there.

and the news telling you they "may have" or are "reasonably certain to have" heard osama's voice on a walkie talkie makes the claim any more valid ? either they heard it or they didn't. news is supposed to report facts, not "maybes." saying, "hey we MAY have heard his voice" seems pretty deperate to me.

"we have found fresh footprints that we believe are osama bin laden's." ...and?
