Piano And Rain

At the end of a long work week, maybe you could use a bit of relaxation. Pleasantly soothing, delightfully literal, PianoAndRain.com does what it says on the tin. [autoplay sounds, in case it wasn't obvious]
Open this in one tab, and that site with the ambient noise music and police scanners in another...

Any chance of a "Riders on the Storm" hour-long mix?

Well, that sort of thing going to happen if you leave your piano out on the beach.

This made me feel all funny inside, like I wanted to take a nap or cry or write in my journal or something.

Just kidding, it really makes me feel like snuggling up in bed with cinnamon toast and a Georgette Heyer novel and telling myself the rain is like an extra rinse cycle, fuck it, it'll dry eventually.

Stuff like this is a lot of fun. Of course, the OCD among us, would prefer to roll their own, otherwise things not being exactly right quickly drive us up the wall... like, I'd like less/no thunder and lower volume on the rain, and different piano, and, and, and go do your own mix instead of complaining. Hmm, so that's how we get roll-your-own-Eno?

Wanted: Train sounds.
For about a year I used to put myself to sleep (I have a weird shift as an adult caregiver) using the yogaduke channel (aka texashighdef, but both have a mix of relaxation and non-relaxation content), which has a lot of rain, waves, and babbling brook sound streams up to an hour. Anyway, the one thing I couldn't get was a nice long train clacking through the night. As a matter of logistics I'm now using the Android app Sleepytime Lite, but I'm going to try YouTube again since they use very short looped sounds, and the train sound I can access has this weird anomaly where it sounds like someone playing the bagpipes very far off.
Anyway, more Android suggestions in this vein welcome...

Nice find - thanks for posting. I've bookmarked it for future needs, and I think I'll mention it to my dentist next week. I think it would be much better than the golden oldies/easy listening stuff they play.
