For about 30 percent of my pictures, I'm actually on the toilet.

At first glance, Benny Winfield Jr. seems like a normal 37-year-old who works as a customer-service rep, lives in the suburbs of Houston, and tutors children in his spare time. But online, he's MrPimpGoodGame, the self-proclaimed "King of the Selfie Movement"...

At second glance, I wonder exactly what difficulties your child is having at school that would prompt you to send him to be tutored by MrPimpGoodGame, the self-proclaimed "King of the Selfie", who tells us, "For about 30 percent of my pictures, I'm actually on the toilet."

Sweet jesus but Vice is an atrociously venal and idiotic publication.

I think some people actually consider that a feature, not a bug, Emperor SnooKloze.

Well, in the same way that George W. Bush was "I'm a bumbler, that is my thing. You can't criticize me for being me. I just bumble and say and do the wrong thing about wars and rights and whatever". Vice is the George W. Bush of messing up media. So wear that. Wear it proudly, Vice. Don't be ashamed of who you are.

Tangentially appropriate, Zoolander is one of the most fantastic movies that has ever been made. As for Vice, whatever, sometimes they are funny. And MrPimpGoodGame, the guy seems like a nice enough person, and seems to have a good sense of humor so good for him.

So they've identified a huge market that they're serving?

I think he's great, but I think he must be kicking himself for choosing a name with 'pimp' in it. If he was just called 'MrGoodGame' I think he'd be getting all sorts of offers from sunglasses companies and more.

It sounds like an old-timely knight or pirate name

In a way pimps are rapists, much of the time, the smaller time hustlers who often get a lot of credit at least , and I think the term should enjoy the same status. I'm OK with calling things "gangsta" and whatnot for now but let's purge "pimp" from the list of synonyms for "cool," "cool guy," and "thrifty / resourceful with unabashed confidence in one's style."

It should he as fashionable to self identity with "pimp" as it is for "rapist." Selfies to me represent a huge portion of the population playing around with cool gadgets until the novelty wears off. Yes, you can take a picture of yourself. Whoopedeedoo. I remember the rise of the MySpace selfie-in-the-mirror photo and figure that it's a more socially acceptable version of exploiting the urge people have to photocopy their buttsLoL
