Cool. I was thinking about posting about this too after seeing a Poetry magazine blog post.
It's worth noting that Jess was Duncan's long-time companion for over 30 years (until Duncan's death in 1988). More about Duncan here. More about Jess here. This is probably as good a place as any to mention Lisa Jarnot's excellent new biography of Duncan.

It took me a minute to realize this Jess Collins of "Jess" fame, one of the more interesting 20th century American artists.
