Goats in sweaters

Goats in sweaters (and other clothing). Photographer's website. Previous goats at Modern Farmer
There is a dark side to these photos, and to these goats. If you wish merely to enjoy the whimsy, do not read the text.

How do they keep the goats from eating the sweaters?

I am convinced that these are not goats that have been dressed up, but rather people who have been transformed into goats via some local curse.

These gents and ladies dress better than I do :depressed3:
You know, if I were this guy I'd probably opt for the gaudy jewel-tone velour track jacket, too. Anything to distract from the testicles on my chin.
Aww, don't say that, your hypothetical chinsticles are quite stylish :)

Not a single picture in there that can't be captioned with "Walk in to the club like".

I only recently discovered Modern Farmer magazine, while on an accidental trip to Whole Foods (the perfect venue for this publication really, and a place I generally avoid like the plague). I saw it while standing in the check out line, and as my eyes began to scan over the titles of the articles - How to Chop Wood, Sheep Week, How to Build an Urban Igloo - I began to laugh like a nincompoop. It's like The Onion for farmers, ghost written by Wes Anderson.
I do like this post, though. Thanks.

They don't just do this in India... a friend here on the south-west coast of Canada (think Seattle in terms of weather) has an elderly goat who isn't able to keep on the pounds anymore, and during a recent cold snap had him in a sweater. Also, a sickly kid (baby goat) in a baby sweater is the cutest thing ever. Sadly, I do not have pictures.

I'm sorry, but these goats are not a patch on Shetland ponies wearing Shetland sweaters.
