This would have been more effective if the *cough* director had autotuned the goats a little closer to the actual singing. That I would have laughed at, but this is just...cut-and-paste.

I am currently enjoying the INCREDIBLE amount of Passover parodies.

This parody by a traffic reporter might have been wonderful if he'd kept it to one verse and a chorus. But he does the whole damned song and it ends up kinda squirmy.

"Let It Go" has gotta be the all-time champ for number of times covered on YouTube. By a mile.
I wonder what the champs are for various other outlets. My own informal research suggests that "Hallelujah" is the most covered song on Spotify at 1000+ takes. (Or, if you want to be pedantic, most of them are covers of Jeff Buckley's cover of John Cale's cover of "Hallelujah," but I digress.)
At this point, if you're covering "Hallelujah," it seems fair to assume that you don't really care for music, do ya?

I'm shocked the GoatStep guy didn't get there first, although he made so many it's hard to know.

I'm not ashamed to say that I've contributed to the sum total of 'Let It Go' derivative works out there on the internet (mine involved Aerosmith), though I can't claim it was my finest work. Not my worst either, mind.

Two boys here. I can tell you, I am at least as sick of this as you. What's interesting, is my kids are only just now getting into Frozen, as are all of their male friends. I think for most of us with boys, this totally flew under the radar when it came out, unlike say a movie about airplanes, or race cars, or monsters. Like most of my friends who are parents of boys, this was something they brought home from school or from their cousins on their own. Regardless, the only media that has entered our house for the past 3 weeks has been Frozen-related and that includes the Game of Thrones premiere which was abandoned so I could rock the toddler to sleep to the tune of The First Time in Forever.
So yeah, good on my kids for ignoring my unconscious attempt to gender bias them. Doesn't make the incessant, oppressive, INCESSANT singing any more tolerable, but there you go.

Big girls, too. On our way to Disneyland on Thursday, I couldn't resist turning to my husband every few miles and singing, "Do you wanna build a snoooowmaaaaan?"
But I'm known for spontaneously (com)busting out in song at the weirdest times. Like, earned-me-a-nickname-at-work levels of "known for".
Chances are good that so long as it isn't any Elton John crap, I'll be singing right along with my daughter when she gets to that age. (And, oh, let's face it -- probably even if it IS Elton John crap.)
